- Call us as soon as possible
- Take photos of any loss or damage
- Advise the police if there has been a crime (obtain a copy of the police report)
- Make the appropriate arrangements to avoid any further damage
- Liability Claims – If the event is relating to a third party advising of injury or property damage as a result of dealing with your business, ensure you take full details. You should not admit or discuss liability until you have spoken with your adviser.
- Your adviser will contact your insurer and organize any documents that need to be completed.
- Complete the claim form provided by our adviser (and incident report if applicable) and return back as soon as possible.
- Remain patient, we will keep you updated throughout the claim process and are here to help answer any queries you may have.
